A Message from Us
Hello, ND Women!
Thank you for your interest in ND Women Connect. It has been some time since we first gathered and I have some information to share about the various activities everyone is interested in. Below are the top activities in each category. If you are interested in collaborating with anyone to organize an event, please let me know and I will get folks in touch with each other to begin planning. Ideally, we would like to have at least one event per quarter, and we will begin populating the calendar that will be housed on our chapter website. (Interested in giving your input, download the survey here and email it to Jocelyn at jmartindale@pressganey.com)
Here are the activities of greatest interest:
Camaraderie –
- Women’s luncheon
- Universal Notre Dame Night
- ND Ladies Happy Hour
- Beer/Wine Tasting Party
- Business Networking events
- Cultural Events
Spirituality –
- Women’s day of reflection
- Communion Mass & breakfast
Community Service –
- Networking with current ND women and/or grad students
Continuing Education –
- Hesburgh Lecture
- Alumnae discussions/seminars
Some of these events, such as UND Night and the Hesburgh Lecture, are planned by the Notre Dame Club of St. Joe Valley. We will be working on linking the websites to each other so any Club events will be accessible through the calendar. I would also encourage you all to become a fan of NDSJV on Facebook. You will receive Club event invitations through that social networking site.
Please email me at jmartindale@pressganey.com only if you are interested in working with another ND woman to organize an event. We are especially looking at having an event before the end of this year. If anyone is interested in helping to plan a holiday-type event, please also let me know.
