Forming an ND Women Connect Chapter

The following are some suggested ways to proceed in forming a ND Women Connect chapter in your local region:

1. Contact NDAA to let them know your interest and notify your local club leadership to begin building support.
2. Identify a small group of committed women that would be willing to work together to organize the chapter.
3. NDAA will send notices to all the alumnae living in the area inviting them to participate in the ND Women Connect survey.
4. Determine chapter leaders and focus.
5. NDAA will work with the chapter leaders to analyze the survey and plan the kick-off event.
6. At the kick-off event, organize team of volunteers to organize future activities, programs and projects. Some areas of focus may be personal enrichment, professional networking and mentoring, and spiritual development. Volunteer opportunities may include development of a website for the local affinity group, publication of monthly newsletter, archival of event details and pictures.
